Easter in the Land of Many Wives

The Easter Baby

Kaia survived her 1st Easter weekend camping trip in southwestern Utah. We had hoped to float down the Green River, but highs in the low 60's and lows in the 30's didn't seem like the right time for the little one's 1st river trip. We camped on Gooseberry Mesa outside of Hurricane, UT with the lar-healey-sons, drew, and new friends lisa and patrick. It was great to put sandals on again and soak up some sunshine. Amanda bought a mtn bike and was excited to try it out. She gave greg and drew of few tips on the ins and outs of mtn biking, lucky for them they were able to keep up with her...
Kaia was a good little camper and kept her parents busy. We weren't sure how everything would work out, but she was a good sleeper and didn't keep the camp up all night. She was quite cute smiling and talking to everyone.
Greg enjoyed a little snuggle time.

Kaia was a good little hiker and mostly slept as we walked.

We discovered an new use for the bike rack. We rigged a swing that kept Kaia quite content while we packed up the truck.
On Sunday we moved on to the Escalante area for a hike up Hackberry Canyon.

On Monday we hiked up to Lower Calf Creek Falls.
