Kaia's Baptism

We are very honored to have Jessica and Stephen as Kaia's Godparents.




This gown is very special to us. It is the same gown my mom and I wore at our baptisms. I think Kaia was very beautiful on her special day.

Showers for Jessica

Kaia's Aunt Jessica and Uncle Stephen were also in town to celebrate the birth of their daughter this April. I didn't get my camera out for the shower at Celeste's, which is unfortunate because we played a very "baby" version of Encore. Nicole, Carl, Mary, and Grandma were the big winners.


Jenny celebrated the Mandala baby with a very celestial baby shower. Here is the Wishing Station...

Kaia had a fun week with Grandma Nancy.


They had fun playing "so big!" which brought many HUGE smiles and funny faces.

Kaia is the best Valentine ever! She is just the sweetest girl.

Getting Bigger

I can't believe Kaia is already two months old! (One more month and Paul gets to stay home with her while I go back to work.) She is getting bigger and better every day. I can't wait to get her official weight and length next week. She keeps getting longer which makes me think she may eventually be taller than me. :( Well, maybe that is a good thing!


I included this picture of her in the swing because it gives more of a gauge of growth. Plus it definitely highlights her mohawk.

Kaia and I walked to the polling station on Tuesday to make our voices heard. I love the Primary in Utah were our vote really does count for a change. (Ayme, notice the cute outfit? We love it. Kaia looks great in green!)
