Videos

Here are some videos I've taken of Kaia recently. I'm posting them for my parents who don't get to see enough of her.

This video is of Kaia at the fountain at Gateway. She loved it so much she could hardly contain herself.

This video is of Kaia "talking" on the phone. It is long, but I couldn't stop filming.

Cabin

Kaia and I spent Memorial Day at the cabin with her Grandma Jenny and awesome cousins while her daddy and Grandpa Mike stayed home to work on building safe stairs in our house.

Here are the awesome helpers staining stairs: Will, Emma, Lydia, and Kaia.

Too cute.

The kids saw the gravel pit on the way to the cabin and wanted to go climb up on the piles so we hopped on our bikes and went to check them out.
Our destination.

Toughies.
Throwing rocks at Emerald Lake. (There is more to the name that they came up with, but I'm forgetting what it is.)
Me and Haus

Kaia was not quite ready to hang with the big kids and had to stay back with grandma and take a nap.

Like her cousin Stella, Kaia LOVES spaghetti.
It rained for the rest of the afternoon and evening so our plans to have a fire outside and roast marshmallows were brought inside.

Kaia's first Smore.

Other activities for the weekend included the kids performing "Saturday Night Live at the Cabin" for Jenny and me. They made up a bunch of skits and performed them on the "front" deck. It was hilarious. We also played games and read books. Here is Will reading with Kaia.

And finally, Kaia learned to play the harmonica that weekend. It was awesome and very cute.

Brian

It has been a long time since we've posted and I apologize. I want to write about all of the amazing things Kaia has been doing these past few months, but right now I just need to grieve the loss of an amazing person. Our friend Brian died yesterday after being tased by Hurricane City Police. This is such a tragic and terrible loss and my heart is aching for Anna, Ava, baby girl, and their families.
